RETENTION
If there is a recruitment of employees, it follows that there should be retention – this is the chief task of Annabelle Paez or simply Anna to her comrades and acquaintances. Anna is tasked to create and design employee programs, employee incentives, and other projects that would lead to the personal and professional development of Training Department’s people. Succinctly, Anna is responsible for ensuring that the team is always happy and in high spirits.

TEACHER TRAINING
One of the things that separate Genyo e-Learning from other Learning Management Systems existing in the market is that it aims to continuously develop the ICT-skills of its partner schools’ teachers. Ever since Diwa positioned itself as an Integrated Solution Provider, the company had its commitment to further ripen the awareness, knowledge, and skills of the teachers when it comes to integrating technology in their instruction through a world-class Learning Management System. To live up to this commitment, the Training Department conducts topnotch Teacher Training programs all throughout the school year. To be able to do so, the team needs to have a standard and effective training curriculum that is ready for implementation. This is what Kimberly Ann C. Aquino does as the e-Learning Specialist for Teacher Training Programs.
Kim is tasked to create effective teacher training curriculum to enhance the ICT skills of the Genyo teachers nationwide. Through her creativity and inventiveness, Kim constantly develops ways and means on how the teachers can familiarize themselves with the ins and outs of the LMS and its integration to their usual classroom instruction.

PLANS AND PROGRAMS
Learning shouldn’t be tedious and boring – this is what Genyo e-Learning advocates. Thus, the system is made up in way that the students’ enthusiasm towards learning will be renewed in every Genyo class. In addition to the interesting modules and interactive activities and coursewares found inside the system, a set of enjoyable and exciting standardized programs were also planned meticulously to serve as an added service to Genyo’s partner schools. This is primarily Encar Ruth Gamo’s area of expertise.
ER, the e-Learning Specialist for Plans and Programs, is responsible for crafting and designing engaging, exciting, and fun programs for Genyo’s stakeholders. These programs not only give learning a different kind of twist, but they also give Genyo schools a bigger advantage over other schools through the integration of technology in their usual school programs. An online student election, Essay Writing contests through the use of technology, a Virtual Quiz bee – these programs only prove that learning isn’t just fun and exciting; it can also be world-class.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Since Genyo’s advent in the country, it has undergone several changes and development to seek for better ways and strategies on how the system can be greatly advantageous to Filipino students and educators. From Genyo Version 3, a server-based program that has to be installed on computers, a more accessible way of learning through the use of the internet as a tool was born – Genyo Online. Every year, different features are being added to give the teachers and the learners a different and improved ICT experience – this strengthens the fact that the product is dynamic. It is not stagnant; therefore, a constant update must be done.
This is mainly the task of Christine Marie R. Pagtalonia as the e-Learning Specialist for Product. She is in charge of keeping the product up-to-date and relevant to the stakeholders. She works closely with the Brand Management Team and the Product Development and Innovations team. Both teams persistently come up with ways to develop ground-breaking and ingenious products. Chim also functions as a Product Ambassador as she’s responsible for conducting Genyo Product Presentations in its client schools nationwide.

Regardless of how sophisticated and world-class an e-Learning material is, its effectiveness wouldn’t be maximized without its actual implementation in the classroom instruction. Just like the quote says, “The proof of the pudding is in the eating”, the acid test of an e-Learning material lies on how it was used and integrated into a day’s lesson.
To ensure the proper implementation of the Genyo program to specific areas and assigned schools, DIWA designates an Area e-Learning specialist who will supervise the Learning Integration Specialists deployed in Genyo schools nationwide. The AES also act as communicators between the Management and the LIS while ensuring that the implementation of Genyo is being carried out according to the goals set by the department. Although there’s definitely a lot on their plate, this vibrant and go-ahead team never fails to give the best service possible to Genyo’s client schools.

To assist the teachers with the implementation of Genyo e-Learning, DIWA designates a full-fledged Learning Integration Specialist (LIS) in every school to act as an on-site consultant for the teachers and the students.
The LIS may look young and naïve, but this group of fresh and dynamic people proves that there’s more to them than what meets the eye. Acting as e-Learning experts, the LIS stays in the school five days a week and works hand-in-hand with the teachers and the administrators to guarantee that Genyo is being used to the optimum and the maximum. What’s very striking about the LIS is that they’re mostly teachers – licensed teachers, even. Other members of the team also hold various degrees like Information Technology, Computer Science, and Psychology. This gives the schools a comforting fact that indeed, they are in good hands.
