PAPERLESS Election: St. Therese goes high-tech through Genyo e-Learning

Last July 8, 2011, St. Therese Educational Foundation of Tacloban Inc. took their Student Election one notch higher as Grade IV – VI and 1st year – 4th year High School students experienced an automated and paperless election through Genyo e-Learning.
The school has an existing system for automated election but they agreed to use Genyo for this school year. After a week of preparation, the said election was successfully implemented.
The election was held at the Genyo Computer Laboratory from 8:00 to 10:15 am and 1:00 to 4:00 pm for the High School and Grade School department, respectively. Results were tracked immediately after the election and were submitted to the administration office. The teachers and advisers who were in-charge of the election are very grateful of the system and are appreciative of the fact that Genyo became a big help for a fast, accurate, and reliable election. One of them even mentioned that he was amazed on how the team was able to manage the preparation for the election without a hint of difficulty.
As a whole, the first Genyo Automated Election in STEFTI went peacefully and smoothly. All the candidates were pleased with the result of the election and no complaints were raised.
