The E-Game is On!

Diwa Learning Systems is indeed in stride with the times. Its Genyo e-learning system is the country’s first and only management system for basic education. This is in partnership with the Singapore-based Learning Edvantage or LEAD. Genyo makes it possible for schools to integrate ICT in classroom instruction. Part of the activities that Genyo provides its subscribers is the Ltrlinx Network Word Game Challenge.

Genyo students prepare for another round of tournament as they compete with schoolmates for this year's LTRLinx Challenge.

LTRLinx Challenge is a network multiplayer word game, which is based on creating anagrams or words spelled out by rearranging the letters of another word. A gamemaster gives the words for the class to guess based on three different themes – English, Math and Science.

Scheduled to compete are First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities on January 12 to 13; San Sebastian College – Recoletos on January 14 to 20, St. Paul College of Makati on January 25 to 26, Hope Christian High School on January 25, Don Bosco Technical Institute Makati City on January 29, Angono Private High School on February 3, Sumulong Memorial High School on February 5, Colegio de San Juan de Letran – Calamba on February 9, PAREF Woodrose on February 11, Canossa School of Sta. Rosa on February 12 and Juan Sumulong Memorial Junior College on February 18.

The game is a fun way of testing students' vocabulary and general knowledge skills. It is also one of the fun tools used by Genyo, an online e-learning program, to make learning more fun for students. Aside from using computer games to capture students' attention and get them hooked on their lessons, Genyo uses interactive quizzes, charts, colorful graphics, animations, video and audio clips to deliver the students Science, Math, English, Filipino and Araling Panlipunan Lessons. Since it is fully integrated, it also comes with teacher training, technical support, marketing support and other services.
