"Our new breed of students eats and breathes high technology. They have never known a world without it, so the learning process should utilize these advances in teaching as well," say Diwa Learning Systems Executive Director and e-learning advocate Jose Maria T. Policarpio.
These Laguna schools include Canossa School of Sta. Rosa, Colegio de San Juan de Letran of Calamba and Canossa College of San Pablo. St. Louis College La Union also signs up.
Genyo is a web-based system which has existing multimedia resources like tutorials, games, quizzes, and homeworks. Students will benefit from a fully integrated system that presents to them their lessons in a very fun and exciting way. This will not just capture their attention but aid in retaining lessons as well.
The students can access their Math, Science, English, Filipino and Araling Panlipunan lessons by logging on to Genyo using their exclusive usernames and passwords. The interactive quizzes, charts, colorful graphics, animations, video and audio clips are available to them inside and outside the classroom, for advance readings or to review.
Parenting also becomes high-tech as parents, using their child's username and password, can also log on to Genyo to check the progress of their children's education and be more hands-on in their children's schooling.
Genyo is also fully integrated, thus making teaching less stressful on the educators. The package includes teacher trainings, technical support, marketing support and other services. To top all these, Diwa Learning Systems forwards a Learning Integration Specialist to each school to make sure ICT integration is a breeze.
