A Tribute to Teachers is a multi-awarded event, having received three Anvil awards (2005, 2006, and 2007) from the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) and three Philippine Quill awards (2005, 2006, and 2007) from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines.
Teachers browsed through the creative and multi-media contents such as interactive quizzes, charts, colorful graphics, animations, video and audio clips of Genyo in the different computer terminals set in the event venue.
Genyo has also expanded the teachers' capacity to engage with the students. Lesson plans, reading materials and reference links can be uploaded early on for students to be more prepared and do well in recitations and exams.
Also presenting greater advantage is building the credibility of the teachers, and the schools, as a whole, as the system provides more transparency for the system. Both parents and students can view various materials submitted online and the corresponding grades given. School administrators are also able to monitor at any given time the teachers' preparedness and ability to draw out the students' interest on their respective subjects.
