GENYO joins Immaculate Conception College’s Lechon Festival
6/24/2012

JUNE 24, 2012 – It was truly a remarkable and great experience for Immaculate Conception College as they participate in the annual Parada ng Lechon (roasted pig parade) in celebration of the feast day of St. John the Baptist.

However, what made the event more notable is that it was joined by ICC’s newest partner in Education, Genyo e-Learning.

The parade, which was participated by Balayan locals and of course Immaculate Conception College, is a clear manifestation of how Balayans give importance to their culture and tradition. Now on its 53rd year, the Parada ng Lechon features a myriad of roasted pigs and wonderfully-crafted and designed floats. Immaculate Conception College’s float for this year is really exceptional, as it features Genyo e-Learning, a world-class e-Learning Management System which the school adopted as one of its steps in providing topnotch quality Education to its students. Immaculate Conception College is the first and the only school in Balayan to have adopted the said e-Learning system.

Dousing of water and chances of being drenched didn’t stop the ICCnians from participating in the celebration. Teachers from all levels as well as the students joined the parade, while the school’s Drum and Lyre group performed its lively pieces. Even ICC’s energetic and vigorous Principal, Sr. Maria Aurora M. Baygan, A.R., didn’t miss the experience.

The Parada ng Lechon marks the first among the many wonderful and remarkable experiences that are yet to come in Immaculate Conception College. With Genyo e-Learning, the school’s newest ally in Education, Academic Year 2012-2013 will be absolutely spectacular.
