JULY 22, 2011 – Fast, smooth, and easy – these are the words to describe the Online Student Government Elections held recently at
Facilitated by Activity Coordinator Mark Zion E. Bonda, DIWA Learning Systems Inc e-Learning Specialist Lhia Clarielle Hernandez, and DCC on-site Learning Integration Specialist Emmelyn Carilla, the online election was a success for it allowed easy voting and fast-generating results.
DCC students waved goodbye to old-fashioned ballots and manual counting of results and welcomed a fast and automated election through Genyo e-Learning, particularly its Online Survey feature.
The participants- consisting of Grades Four (4-Evangelists and 4-Psalmists), Grades Five (5-Beatitudes and 5-Pentateuch), Grades Six (6-St. Francis de Sales and 6-St. Jane de Chantal), and teachers- uttered positive feedbacks after voting for their bets. “It’s very easy, and it just took me few minutes to vote,” said one student.
Mr. Mark Bonda recounted the reason why he opted to integrate Genyo in conducting student elections is because they have tried it last year and he was able to witness its wonders. “The automated elections through Genyo made the voting process very easy. Few clicks already assure you that your vote is in, safe. Plus, the results can be generated right away,” he remarked.
