NOVEMBER 22, 2011 – Proving that they are no longer intimidated by Mathematics, grade school Mathletes from Don Carlo Cavina School participated in the Cyber Math Challenge, one of the many exciting and fun programs prepared for the students all year round.

Cyber Math Challenge aims to provide an avenue for students to develop their Math skills while enhancing their ICT skills through a virtual competition.   A total of 32 grade school students joined the final round of the contest held at the Grade School Genyo laboratory.

The said competition was composed of four rounds namely Addition Game, Subtraction Game, Multiplication Game, and Division Game, found in the Game Station feature of Genyo. The contest had two categories: Category A (Grade 3 versus Grade 4) and Category B (Grade 5 versus Grade 6) which were both facilitated by Diwa Learning Systems Inc’s Learning Integration Specialist Emmelyn R. Carilla and Activity Coordinator Mark Zion E. Bonda.

In the said competition, the participants called “Mathletes” really demonstrated their prowess in Math as they earn big points and beat the time. They stayed focused and determined to advance in every round.

The ultimate Mathletes are:
