The said event, which is being held annually, aims to enhance the students’ ability in critical thinking, sharpen their knowledge in Science and Technology, and promote healthy living and good camaraderie through sports. DIWA personnel Ms. Daisy Pagaduan-Guiad, along with the science teachers of UB – Prep High School organized the said Olympics. Adding a twist of technology, UB – Prep HS opted to integrate Genyo e-Learning for the Science Quiz Bee through the help of UB Learning Integration Specialists Jeffrey Eurolfan and Ern Paulo Juta. University of Baguio, the first school in Cordilerra to adopt the innovative e-Learning program, is already on its second year of providing world-class ICT-integrated Education to its students.

The young academic athletes from various schools were amazed on how fast the results of the quiz bee examinations were tracked using the Genyo portal. They also had a taste of the interactive lessons and games offered inside the system, all providing learning and fun.

Different physical and mind sports such as Arnis and Chess were also conducted for the benefit and enjoyment of the young academic atheletes. An awarding ceremony jam-packed with excitement capped off the day. The participants and their respective teacher coaches received certificates of participation from University of Baguio and Diwa Learning Systems. Winners and runner-ups received plaques, medals, certificates, and tokens.
