OCTOBER 13, 2011 – 30 young Science whiz kids battled with each other as they answer and solve scientific concepts during the VIRTUAL Science Quiz bee held at Binangonan Catholic College.

As part of the Science Month celebration, BCC conducted its first Virtual Science Quiz Bee with the help of BCC Learning Integration Specialist Geraldine Verano. The quiz bee was carried over using the Genyo portal.

Thirty young Science whiz kids battled with each other during the elimination round which was held on October 4, 2011. Out of 30 participants, 10 bright whiz kids advanced to the final round. The students’ critical, analytical, and problem solving skills were tested through the various types of questions. After a challenging round, three deserving whiz kids were announced as winners.

Aside from tapping into the potentials and honing the ICT skills of the students, the Virtual Science Quiz bee also promotes camaraderie and healthy competition among the students. Through a contest like this, BCCians can prove that they can unleash their potentials with the help of their learning buddy, Genyo e-Learning.
