Brushwork to mouse work: DLA Modern day painters
9/28/2011
AUGUST 25, 2011 – Modern day painters were produced following a very simple equation: Genyo e-Learning + Internet + MS Paint + Artistic hands of Divinians = Modern work-of-art.

Held at Divine Light Academy’s Genyo laboratory, the e-Poster Making contest which has a theme of “Mahalin Pambansang Wika Natin” doesn’t just aim to showcase the aesthetic capabilities of the students but also to ignite their love for the Filipino language through illustration.

Twelve little artists from various sections in the third grade created their high-tech masterpieces in Microsoft Paint and uploaded them inside the portal through the Offline Homework feature. The masterworks were judged according to Content, Creativity, Originality, and Color Scheme.

Diwa Learning Systems Inc’s e-Learning Specialist for School Plans and Programs Ms. Encar Ruth Gamo, DLA Las Pinas’ Art teacher Mr. Jan Michael B. Villastique, and Filipino coordinator Ms. Norayda S. Mugas judged the little artists’ work. Below are the winners of the competition:
