Books, magazines, encyclopedia, and other form of printed materials – these are just some of the resources that we typically make use of in preparation for a prestigious academic event such as a quiz bee competition. However, in
Jerald Mark M. Gestupa (2nd year HS Student), Lanz Jewel G. Pagaran, (3rd year HS Student) both from the San Lorenzo Ruiz Academy of Polomolok, and Aeron Jan Sanidad, a Grade 4 student from The Quantum Academy represented their respective schools at the 8th National Science Quest. All three of them took advantage of using Genyo e-Learning, a world-class e-Learning system adopted by their schools since 2010 for their quiz bee review.
Genyo e-Learning is an online Learning Management System that helps students learn from the interactive multimedia lessons and activities that are readily-available 24/7, answer quizzes and get immediate feedback with just a click of button.
Aeron won first place in the Division Level held last September 2010, bagged second place for the Regional level held last November before moving forward to the 8th National Science Quest held last February 2-4, 2011 at the Pedro Guevarra Memorial High School in Sta. Cruz, Laguna. In the course of his preparation for the quiz bee, his coach Sheila Claud let him use books and GENYO to review the lessons and tests assigned to him. Using the Test Builder feature, Aeron was able to answer all the assigned tests from GENYO anytime and anywhere provided there is an internet connection.
In the same way, Jerald Mark and Lanz Jewel also proved that Genyo students have the capacity to outshine a hall of contenders from various schools as they bagged the first place and the third place award for the Science and Chemistry categories, respectively. Both Jerald and Lanz also used Genyo as their main review resource.
With more than a thousand questions on Science that they can review on, GENYO served as their portable reviewer more than enough to prepare them for the night of the quiz bee. Interactive, fun, understandable, and meaningful lessons for review – with this array of effective review resources, one wouldn’t really find it hard to bring the bacon home.
