Embracing technology as a part of the curriculum poses a lot of challenges – the eagerness of the teachers, the resistance of the stakeholders, and perhaps the biggest challenge of all, the school’s readiness when it comes to its infrastructure. These things are to be considered before the school finally plunge itself in an ICT-integrated curriculum. But as a part of its commitment to provide assistance to its partner schools when it comes to infrastructure, Diwa Learning Systems Inc makes sure that before the school bells start ringing, the computer laboratories are up and ready.

A brief and concise Genyo Orientation was conducted by Christine Marie Pagtalonia, Diwa Learning System’s e-Learning specialist for Product to give the guests an overview of what Genyo is and how beneficial it is to the stakeholders. The ribbon-cutting ceremony followed right after, headed by the school director Rev. Fr. Eduardo O. Ventic and joined by Madam Perlita Quinones, SJA’s energetic and vibrant Basic Education Principal.
The Genyo laboratories (one for GS and one for HS), which was put up in collaboration with Diwa Learning Systems Inc, are complete with brand-new computer units, an LCD projector and screen, and armed with a high-speed internet connection. Through this innovation and improvement, the school can now provide quality ICT-integrated Education to their students.
