Before we fully embrace something new, it is necessary that we become aware of how it can be beneficial to us. More so, we also have to know the rules that we must follow in order to put everything in its proper order.  There is a strong need for us to educate ourselves on how to use it so we will end up enjoying its benefits. 

It’s La Consolacion College – Pasig’s first year of subscription to Genyo e-Learning and the students’ excitement can be greatly felt during the Student Orientation that was conducted Last June 27, 2011 both for the Grade School and the High School department. The orientation focused on the benefits that the students will get from Genyo, how they can access the website, the important things to remember upon logging in, and of course, the policies that they ought to follow inside the Genyo laboratory.

GRADE SCHOOL DEPARTMENT

Giggles, joys, and roaring laughter filled the laboratory as GS Learning Integration Specialist Ms. Ma. Elizabeth Molina conducted the Student Orientation through story-telling. The students were in awe as they see the different features of Genyo unfold in front of them while listening to Teacher Elmo’s interesting story. All of them were hooked from the beginning up to the end, and their enthusiasm is a good indication that it is truly a Genyorrific year for Laco Pasig GS Department. Mixing fun with learning – that’s predominantly what Genyo is all about.

HIGH SCHOOL DEPARTMENT

Although not as energetic as the kids when it comes to games and stories, the High School students of La Consolacion – Pasig showed the same level of interest as that of the Grade School students through their questions and queries. The students incessantly cleared out cloudy concepts to Mr. Abe Cortez, HS Department’s Learning Integration Specialist. Sir Abe, in turn, willingly answered all of the questions that were thrown by the students. The strong sense of curiosity and interest shown by the Secondary level students gives Sir Abe the comforting assurance that it will be a very exciting year for Laco HS.

Truly, the orientation for GS and HS was a blast. Realizing how Genyo can provide a fun-filled, exciting and totally different learning experience definitely powered their engines.
