Indeed, the start of the school year is a very busy month. Thanks to the support of Mr. Lito Tenerife, Ms. Wilma Gamo, and all the other School Admin and Area Heads, the teachers’ and students’ orientation was implemented successfully.
Welcoming the new teachers: TEACHER’S ORIENTATION
The teachers’ orientation was held last June 28, 2011, 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM, at the MIC Internet Laboratory. Together with Ms. Anna Paez, Mr. Mark Deopante, and Mr. Jr Forteza, the orientation went without a hitch. Various modules were also discussed to make the teachers familiar with their newest tool in Education. All of them were participative and they really enjoyed the training.
Unfortunately, some of the teachers weren’t able to attend due to their schedule of classes. What’s good about them though is that they’re very eager to know what Genyo is and asked for the orientation to be rescheduled. The other orientation was held the next day, June 30, 2011, 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM, at the same laboratory.
New Genyo buddies: STUDENT ORIENTATION
The Student Orientation took place after the rescheduled teachers’ orientation (3:30 PM– 5:00 PM). Since there were too many new students, they were divided into 2 groups and simultaneous Student Orientations were conducted. Mr. Jr Forteza facilitated one group at the MIC internet Laboratory while Mr. Ken Edward Concepcion facilitated the other half at St. Joseph Cafasso. Although not all of the students were participative during the program, their interest towards their new study buddy is clearly seen as they approached the Learning Integration Specialist assigned to them after the orientation to clear out some things that they weren’t able to grasp.
With all these exciting programs prepared for the teachers and the students, Genyo e-Learning is looking forward to another fun, exciting, and Genyorrific year with their consistent partner in learning, Don Bosco Technical Institute of Makati.
