Basilan School Prepares for 21st Century Learning

 

Claret School of Maluso in Basilan gets into e-learning, through the assistance of Diwa Learning System, the country's leading educational publisher.
 
The ICT initiative is part of the school's program called "Borderless Education for Armed Men and Women of Basilan".

Part of the program is an e-learning discussion held at Concordia College in Pedro Gil, Paco, Manila conducted by Diwa Learning System's Vice President for Special Projects and E-Learning Development, Jose Maria T. Policarpio. A total of 25 teachers handling high school and tertiary levels. who are also enrolled in MA programs in Concordia College, participated in the program.

The program, spearheaded by Sr. Ma. Felipa Fe C. Javen, D.C., principal and directress of Claret School of Maluso, aims to shape the poorest of the poor at the Autonomous Region.

Diwa Learning Systems is the developer and distributor of Genyo, an integrated e-learning program designed for high schools.  Mr. Policarpio tackled "e-Learning Towards Responsive Education" and "Integrating e-Learning in the Classroom: How to Organize Your School's ICT Initiative."
